Studio Workshop: Canvas Stretching and Priming
A professional painting requires a properly constructed surface. In this hands-on, three-hour technical workshop, you will learn the exact methods used to cut, stretch, and prime a raw canvas. Following a comprehensive demonstration covering the necessary materials and tools, you will construct your own surface under direct, academic guidance. You will leave the studio with a small, fully stretched, and primed canvas ready for your next piece.

Studio Workshop: Demystifying Oil Materials
This session is designed to break the ice and dismantle the common myths surrounding oil painting. Before investing heavily in new supplies or struggling through trial and error, this seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the medium. We will cover the specific properties of oil paints, brush selection, mediums, surface preparation, brand differences, and drying times. While this is not a full painting session, there will be hands-on opportunities to test the materials and understand the tactile nature of oils.
